Letter to my future self

Right now I am a junior at the University of Tampa majoring in finance. To my future self in 20 years, I hope you have made the most out of all the opportunities college has given you. Even though your college days are gone, it is important that you enjoyed every single second of college because at the end of the day that is all that matters. I also hope that you have worked with Jackson (my friend) while he looks to expand his real estate business. Even though you may be busy at school there is always time to put in the work to better your future. Aside from the real estate side of things I hope you and Cooper gave your best attempt at being a sports agent. Use the connections that you have to reach out to different people and try to get clients.

In 20 years from now I see myself being financially free. I want to make the proper investments that will help me in the long run. I hope you have bought multiple properties and are now renting them out to people. Passive income is huge to becoming financially free so buying these properties is just the start. Also, I hope money you have put into your Roth IRA continues to grow. Even though you hated putting money into that when you were in college, you can now say your parents were right as it has helped you.

Aside from talking about money, I could see myself in 20 years living in Connecticut, Boston, Tampa, or Texas. I hope 20 years from now I have found my wife and maybe even have kids in 20 years. Obviously that is scary to think about now but I feel like I will be ready. I hope to be able to provide for my family so they have no worries about how much money we have. I also want to have so much money that I can take care of my parents because I know how much they have done for me in my life. So being able to give back to them will be a dream come true.
